INVITATION TO BID Project: Cordillera Road Improvements Project Description: Asphalt Overlay Sealed bids for Cordillera Metropolitan District 2019 Roadway Improvements will be received by the District at their offices located at 0408 Carterville Road, Cordillera, Colorado, 81632 until 10 a.m. May 9, 2019. Any bids received after this time will not be accepted and will be returned unopened. Promptly thereafter, all bids that have been duly received will be privately opened. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities in any bid. The successful bidder will be notified within one week thereafter. Copies of the Bidding Documents are available at the above address on and after 8:30 a.m., April 16, 2019. Specific information concerning the project may also be obtained from Mr. Trevor Broersma, operations director, via fax 970-926-5577 or email: tbroersma@cordillerametro.org, during the District's business hours Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m A pre-bid meeting will be held Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at 10 a.m. All written questions received before the pre-bid meeting will be answered at the meeting. The work to be performed generally includes approximately 160,000 square feet of a 2" overlay of 58-28 Asphalt mix on certain sections of roads within Cordillera. This will also consist of milling, patching, raising manholes and water valves, located within the road section and parking lot improvements. Basis of award will be determined by past performance as well as the lowest responsive and responsible bid as determined by Owner.
