Viewing for this spectacular event will take place at the base of Golden Peak. Fireworks will light up the sky directly after the parade. The event is free and open to the public. Safty Tips Free Extended Bus Service If your New Year's Eve celebration includes drinking alcohol, please arrange for a designated driver. FREE Eagle County Bus Service Eagle County ECO Transit will be offering free bus service with more frequency tonight from midnight til 2.00 a.m. Leave Your Car in the Structures To prevent a DUI, vehicles entering Vail Village or Lionshead parking structures today after 3 p.m. may be left overnight for free. Vehicles must be retrieved by 11 a.m. on Jan, 1 by using an ovemight parking authorization receipt avalable from the Town of Vail parking office or from the Vail Village or Lionshead Welcome Centers.
