get involved EAGLE COUNTY presented by Alpine Bank VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES Caregiver Connections-Virtual Activity Buddies Caregiver Connections was created in 2011 when a group of caregivers started Eagle Valley Senior Life to confront a local need for care and caregiver resources for older adults with moderate to severs imitations, primarily cognitive in nature. is a great grassroots story and we aim to be the one-stop shop for any caregivers of older adults who need resources, support and direct assistance, How you help in these challenging times: Virtual Activity Buddies: Play a game vitualy with a client or engage in some other activity or docussionivirtual visits. These Buddies can also deliver groceries and other supplies and can help put together and deliver care packages for caregivers and activity bags for care recipients. Board Members: We are looking for two new Board members to replace members whose terms are ending Caregiver connections wants to broaden our scope and is looking for Board Members who are inspired by helping older adults. We are focusing on fostering celationships and new partnerships, recruiting and training volunteers and exponding the client base. Skis needed: Patience. resourceful, creative, computer skils for virtual learning. To volunteer, email skanthelteraceroiectevid.org Vail Valley Mountain Trails Alliance and the White River USFS - WIdite Trail Education April 15 - June 20 WMTA is recruiting adults, youth and children to be present at dosed trail heads to help enforce their closures and educate the public about wihy they are dosed. Any amount of volunteer time is appreciated, and a one-hour training is provided. This opportunity runs year- round with an emphasis on the Spring Widite Closure annually. Any tral closed throughout the winter is a volunteer opportunity. Ambassadors are invited to hike the open trails to educate the public as well Feld Ambassadors are present at closed trail heads or hiking open trals to spread educational intormation. Social Ambassadors visit groups or companies sharing information in a meeting seting Volunteer report back to the program.
